Indianapolis Quality of Life Terms of Use and Guidelines
PURPOSE
The Indianapolis Quality of Life website is intended to further an understanding of the quality of life in our region. We hope to be able to provide tools and information that will assist in improving the quality of life for our family, friends and neighbors. To that end, we have designed a website to foster discussion and provide a forum for the sharing of programs, research, and we hope, success stories. As a user of this site your input is both necessary and valued. We seek to provide a forum that will allow users to share their experiences and knowledge with others in our community.
The QOL website is maintained by staff of Indiana University. We reserve the right to alter these guidelines at any time.
CONTENT GUIDANCE
In order to maintain a site that is beneficial and supportive of our goals we ask all users to follow a few basic guidelines. Please let common sense be your primary guide and remember that this guidance has been developed with the intent of providing a forum in which all are welcome and will create an environment that leaves users wanting to return. As a result, we must reserve the right to reject any posting that is not in line with the website goals. We also reserve the right to terminate the access of any user who seeks to post content that may be offensive to others. Prohibited content includes that which:
is offensive and/or promotes harassment, racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
solicits personal information of any kind;
provides any individual identifiers such as telephone numbers, street addresses, last names or e-mail addresses;
promotes information that you know is false or misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene or defamatory.
CONTENT REVIEW
All user comments and content will be reviewed. Those that do not adhere to the content guidelines will be deleted by the content moderator.
GUIDANCE REVISIONS
We may revise these terms of use by updating this page. You agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to determine the current terms of use.
YOUR PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us. Your e-mail is only used for account activation and to inform you of periodic updates to the website. Your personal information will not be distributed or shared under any circumstances.
